The municipality of Llucmajor is the largest on the Mediterranean island of Mallorca in terms of area. The municipality has around 34,600 inhabitants. Llucmajor itself is a small town located around 15 kilometers southeast of Palma airport. The town offers shopping facilities as well as popular cafés and tapas bars. The townscape is accordingly, narrow streets with pretty houses and a central market square. Surrounding the town are fields of apricot and almond trees, which are simply gorgeous to look at when in bloom.
